God

The Buddha basically taught that the notion of God wasn't important. To him it was the process which was important. Jesus, and others on the other hand placed emphasis on the path of devotion to deity.
Now, what The Buddha had to say makes much sense to me. Yet, I cannot shake the feeling that something is above us. I read somewhere we are hardwired with this idea of a God who has some say in what happens here.
Perhaps, we are merely inclined to personify everything? It could also be because we see ourselves as creators, we think the hierarchy has to go up higher to something less flawed.
We all wish beyond our limitations.(Both real, and imagined.) I like to know the mountain exists. Though climbing it is beyond what I can do here in the flatness of Florida.
