Some sweet story of star heralded savior
Born in Bethlehem long ago
Certainly clashes with some behavior
Noticed somewhat in every place I go.

Trendy televisions aren't worth too much 
If to purchase them people forgo lunch.

Spring Eternal

Incipient springs bubble near deserts
with miracle hydration for what hurts.
No arid always or permafrost exists
while beauty rooted within spirit persists.
Though sad seasons seem ever scheduled so
dandelions brave conditions and grow.

Unenlightened

Buddha's smile surfaces in present moment
Though all factions of heart remain unfocused
And I unwilling to forsake components
Ponder self's various 'faults' with amusement

  as if
matter matters more
  than even fringes of defrosted soul
made warm by wealth previously unknown
